T2H Hybrid Test Protocol The carpet tested was an uncleaned piece from my basement. Each test area, of about 54 square inches each, was sectioned off on the single piece of carpet. All products where applied to carpet. 4 Bonnet Pro samples and 2 others. The 4 hours at the lab only allowed us time to test 4 of the 6 chemistries applied to the carpet. Approximately 2 ounces of encap was applied to each test square. This would equal 200 to 300 square feet of coverage per gallon in a real cleaning situation. So in other words, a little more was applied to the test carpet to make sure we had a good coating. A new Revive pad center was used for each test square and was dipped into the mixed cleaning solution (mix to manufacturer's recommendations for heavy soil) 5 times and cleaner was rubbed into the carpet to simulated straight encapping. The samples dried completely then were vacuumed 3 times and 6 times. Each vacuum pass equaled a fairly quick double pass.
